How long does the treatment take?
The treatment takes between 30 – 45 minutes to complete.
Will hair grow back thicker?
No your hair will not grow back thicker. Coarse facial hair such as that found on the brow, upper lip and chin will grow back at the same rate of normal growth. Superficial vellus hair on the cheeks, neck, side burns and forehead take 2-4 weeks to reappear.
I am pregnant and/or breastfeeding, can I have this treatment?
Yes this treatment is very gentle and will not stimulate hormones or pigmentation.
Are there any risks or side effects?
Yes all treatments carry some potential risks and side effects. Dermaplaning can cause scraping or nicking of the skin. Some people may experience redness, irritation, dryness or post treatment acne flares. People who have inflamed or active acne are not ideal candidates for this treatment.
